Role

Emily is the Technical Assistance Manager at New Entry Sustainable Farming Project where she develops educational programming and business support resources for beginning farmers. Her work focuses on farm viability, workforce development, risk management, and improving access to resources for new and underserved farmers. She is dedicated to supporting new farmers on their journey to establish thriving and economically viable farms. 

Background & Education

Emily previously owned and operated a farm, giving her firsthand experience with the operational and financial realities of running a small farm business. She brings this practical perspective into her work supporting farmers across New England. Emily holds a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Design from UMass Amherst.
