Unfortunately, due to COVID and social distancing restrictions, we have made the tough decision to postpone / cancel our 2020 Open Farm Tour.  We apologize for the inconvenience and hope that you will be able to join us next year to meet all of the New Entry staff and Incubator Farmers!  This will your chance to tour our incubator farms, learn what is growing, and visit our Food Hub operations.  Sample the bounty coming from the fields at the New Entry Sustainable Farming Project.

Typically, we would have hosted a farmers market in the 1882 barn designed by renowned landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted highlighting our twelve resident incubator farmers and their produce cultivated on the Moraine Farm fields.  This year, our barn is filled with boxes that we are packing each week for our Food Access partnerships!

The New Entry's USDA Certified Organic demonstration plot is also cranking with an abundance of vegetable plantings demonstrating organic farming methods.

If you would like to get to know us better, we are still accepting volunteers to help at the Food Hub and on the farm.  Please sign up to volunteer here.  While you are here, New Entry Farmers will be on hand to share a fresh-picked veggie, answer questions, and talk about the various aspects of beginner farmer training and all things related to sustainable farm cultivation.  We hope to see you here on the farm, just in a different capacity!

And mark your calendars for next year's Farm Tour (last Saturday in July)!
