Presenters:

Mike Parker is a first generation farmer, currently starting up a grassfed beef enterprise in Cooperstown, NY. He also coordinates a farm viability grant program for the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources, and is part of the founding team of Farm Generations Cooperative, the co-op behind GrownBy, an e-commerce app for direct-marketing farms. From 2017 - 2021, he led several land access and business services projects for the National Young Farmers Coalition, including the Finding Farmland program.

Pami Monnette serves as the outreach and customer onboarding representative at Food4All. She also runs her own flower farm in Oregon, County Line Flowers. Prior to Food4All, Pami worked with OSU Extension Service for ten years in community food systems work. She earned her Master’s in Public Policy from OSU focusing on agricultural and rural issues. Pami desires to cultivate healthy communities through better expanding access to local food and educating the public about agriculture. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her kids, skiing, and playing guitar.

Andrea Davis-Cetina is the farmer of Quarter Acre Farm, a certified organic vegetable operation on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. The farm specializes in heirloom tomatoes, peppers, garlic, sweet potatoes, and a wide range of vegetable seedlings selling directly to consumers at local farmers’ markets. Andrea has worked in agriculture for almost 20 years. She has a BA in Sustainable Agriculture with a focus on Local Food Systems from Hampshire College. Andrea is always looking for innovative approaches to marketing and increasing the profitability of her farming operation.
