- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated lemon peel
- 1 cup water
- 3 cups fresh blueberries
In medium saucepan, mix sugar, cornstarch and lemon peel. Gradually stir in water; mixing it thoroughly. Cook over medium-low heat until thickened, stirring frequently. Add blueberries. Bring to a boil; remove from heat. Cover and chill until ready to serve. Makes 4 cups.
